A38 Roundabout update

Work is progressing steadily on the canal crossing under the A38 roundabout. The abutments on the western side are in place and traffic is using that side of the roundabout whilst work goes on on the eastern side. The canal channel through the middle of the roundabout has been piled on both sides and excavation on the centre channel and the eastern bridge hole is well underway. An access road has been dug to remove the spoil back to the contractors depot.
