Whilst all looks calm besides the Ocean waters, there is much visibly going on on the western side of the railway.
A small bund with a few drainage pipes to maintain water flow, has been created across the canal. Just big enough to let narrow tracked vehicles navigate to the towpath side.
Also to be seen are the large cast concrete structures which were made on site, these will form the new bridge under the railway.
It is unfortunate that there has been a delay in the programme. It will be an impressive sight when the actual installation actually commences.
