Whilst having a clear out, I re-found this old image. The original photograph measured approx. 3″ x 2″ and was probably taken by my father as I remember the first time I saw it was when I was about 5 years old or maybe a little earlier.
The truck was an ex American army unit and was delivering wood products to Butts yard. I have not been able to find out when the accident happened but my guess is early fifties.
