We have set up this blog to enable you to connect with the activities and events happening day to day on the Cotswold Canals Restoration Project. Not only can you send in your own story; covered in an earlier post, but you can also receive emails notifying you of the posts that are published.
In the top right corner of every screen is a small orange triangle with a ‘+’ sign. Clicking this opens up a panel on the right with a number of options.
The first enables you to send in your own story; just click the link and your email client will pop up with instructions. Any stories sent will be processed and published if suitable. (We reserve the right to edit any content sent this way.)
The next option is to set up your own RSS feed – posts delivered to your own news app on your phone or tablet. Copy the provided link into your app and posts will appear as they are published.
The third option is to set up an email notification link.
You will need to provide your email address, a name and choose ‘daily’ or ‘weekly’ emails. You will receive a confirmation email when you click ‘subscribe’.
The options enable emails to be sent either at 21:30 on the day a new post is published or at 21:30 on Fridays. Daily posts will list excerpts from the last 2 posts while weekly emails will list excerpts from the last 5 or 6 posts. This may not include every post published and are only excerpts – we would really like you to visit the Blog to see all the activity that is happening.
Please note that we only use the minimum amount of detail needed to make this service possible and it is not used for any other purpose.
