Lots to see today between Ham Mill and Brimscombe Mill. The new ramped footpath is finished at Ham mill bridge. Work continues levelling silt on Bob and Wendy’s land between Ham Lock and Bagpath bridge.
A new notice board has been placed on the fence outside Stroud Brewery explaining the new work that will be taking place on the Bagpath bridge to Hope Mill section.
The grass has been cut at Gough’s Orchard lock.
Recovered insulation boards from Stroud metals are outside the New Bookshop.
Why not walk along and have a drink at Stroud Brewery, Ship Inn or continue through Brimscombe Port and stop by Ark cycles to have a coffee and excellent chocolate fudge cake at the Felt cafe. Felt cafe is now open Tuesday to Sunday and lovely seating next to the River Frome.
