New for Summer 2026: Stroud Brewery Lunch Boat Trips
We’re delighted to introduce a brand-new experience for 2026 – our Stroud Brewery Lunch Boat Trips.
This unique day out combines a relaxing cruise along the restored Thames & Severn Canal with a lunch stop at the popular Stroud Brewery, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the canal from a different perspective while supporting local businesses.
Departing from Wallbridge in Stroud, passengers will travel aboard our trip boat through Bowbridge Lock and Griffin’s Mill Lock, taking in the wildlife, heritage and beautiful scenery that make this stretch of canal so special. The journey continues to Ham Mill Lock, where passengers will enjoy a pleasant 10-minute walk along the towpath to Stroud Brewery.
Once at the brewery, there will be 90 minutes to relax and enjoy lunch before returning to the boat for the journey back to Wallbridge. Tables will be reserved automatically for all passengers, making for a hassle-free and enjoyable day out.
Trip Dates
The trips will run on the first Thursday of each month throughout the summer:
- Thursday 2nd July 2026
- Thursday 6th August 2026
- Thursday 3rd September 2026
- Thursday 1st October 2026
- Thursday 5th November 2026
Timings
Departure: 10:30am from Wallbridge Lock, Stroud
Arrive at Stroud Brewery: Approximately 12:00 noon
Return from Ham Mill Lock: 1:45pm
Arrive back at Wallbridge: Approximately 3:30pm
Ticket Prices
- Adult: £25.00
- Child (Under 16): £18.00
Important Information
- Food and drink are not included in the ticket price.
- Tables at Stroud Brewery are reserved automatically for all passengers.
- Due to seating arrangements, passengers may be seated alongside fellow boat trip guests.
- The nearest parking is available at Cheapside Car Park, Stroud.
- Dogs are not permitted on this trip.
- Trips are subject to suitable weather and water conditions. If a trip is cancelled, at least three days’ notice will be given and a full refund offered.
- Maximum passenger capacity is 12 people.
- The towpath walk to the brewery is flat and generally in good condition, although suitable footwear is recommended.
