Scaffold Training Course Nov 17th
6 people plus Mike the instructor, from Consult and Get trained based in Stonehouse, attended a cup lock training course.
The morning was theory covering topics such as Health and Safety, Legislation, safe working procedures, cup lock components, safe working practices and safety equipment.
The afternoon was the practical session where scaffolding of various configurations and complexity was erected. We were giving a really good insight into how to do things correctly with lots of insider tips from the ex professional scaffolder. We all learnt a lot from the day.
It has generated a shopping list of additional items we must have, to comply with current legislation and safe working practices. In view of the amount of lock work anticipated over the next few years, then this was a timely and essential course.
