Voting Now Open for Our Brimscombe Bookshop Mural Project
Thank you to everyone who has supported our Brimscombe Charity Book & Music Shop Mural Project so far.
We were delighted to receive a fantastic number of applications from talented artists, all inspired by the canals, heritage, wildlife and communities that make the Cotswold Canals so special. The quality, creativity and variety of the submissions exceeded our expectations, and we would like to thank everyone who took the time to apply.
After carefully reviewing all of the entries, our Brimscombe Bookshop volunteers have shortlisted their favourite designs. We are now inviting our members, volunteers, supporters and the wider community to help select the winning artworks.
As the bookshop has two external walls to be transformed, there will be two winning designs, with one mural painted on each wall. We are therefore asking everyone taking part to vote for their top two favourite designs.
The winning murals will form part of a wider canalside arts project being delivered in partnership with Cotswold Canals Connected. The artwork will help create a vibrant and welcoming destination while celebrating the heritage, wildlife and community spirit of the Cotswold Canals.

The public vote, alongside feedback from our volunteers and members, will help determine the two winning artists who will bring the bookshop walls to life later this summer.
