Come and join us at the Stonehouse Court Hotel to enjoy a guided walk along the canal to Ryeford Lock and back. During the walk we will take you through the history of the canal and its restoration that started in the 1970’s.
You will hear of the huge efforts that are taking place during the next stage of the restoration Phase 1B Stonehouse to Saul Junction that has recently commenced. Join us after the walk in the gardens of Stonehouse Court Hotel where we can provide you further information such as membership and volunteering or maybe book a canal boat trip to experience the canal corridor from the water.
Walking time is for approximately 1 ½ hours along the tow path. (Bring your wellies)
Cost is £5.00 per person.
Parking is available on a first come first serve basis in the Hotel car park.
There is plenty of additional parking on Church Lane. See you there!
